About the presenter
Dr. Nurul ‘Ain Elias holds a PhD in Zoology from Texas Tech University, USA and has been studying bats for over 20 years. Her study focuses on bats reproductive ecology and resource partitioning among bats. Ain’s research contributes to a long-term bat monitoring programme conducted by the Southeast Asian Bat Conservation and Research Union (SEABCRU).
This year, Dr Nurul ‘Ain received a THF Research Grant to better understand the ways bats may be beneficial to rice agriculture in Kedah.
