Reasons for Hope – Dr Jane Goodall in Penang

In these gloomy days when concern about climate change and biodiversity loss fill us with anxiety and despair, Dr Jane Goodall has been a beacon of hope. She reminds us not to give up and that we all have a responsibility to act now, and together, so we can make change happen.

For the last 20 years, Jane has circled the globe tirelessly delivering her message to inspire environmental changemakers all over the world through her Roots & Shoots youth-led action programme. This November, she is visiting Penang for the first time to bring her message to you.

The Habitat Foundation, in partnership with Roots & Shoots Malaysia, and with the support of Universiti Sains Malaysia and the Malaysian Primatalogical Society, is honoured to invite you to a special public talk at Dewan Tuanku Syed Putra, Universiti Sains Malaysia. Do follow our event page of Facebook to see more information about events in the weeks ahead of the talk as well as logistics arrangements for the day.

The response to the Jane Goodall Public Talk has been simply been overwhelming! In many ways this is not surprising seeing as Dr Jane has a huge impact on so many people’s lives. Please note that registrations closed on 21 November 2019. All seats have been taken up.
