Attractive prizes to be won for essays on primates

Entries are now invited for the 8th ASiS International Environmental Essay Competition organized by SM Sains Shah Alam in collaboration with Roots & Shoots Malaysia and the Malaysian Primatological Society! This competition is also supported by the Malaysian Ministry of Education.

Students aged 12 to 18 years from all over the world are encouraged to participate to this year’s competition with the theme: “Conserving our Precious Wildlife: Primates – a Global Perspective”.

This year’s competition challenges students all over the world to learn more about the primates of the world and to use their creativity to express their views about the importance of acting to prevent the loss of these species.

Winners stand to receive cash prizes which have been sponsored by The Habitat Foundation. They will also receive book prizes and a special certificate of commendation.

There will be 20 prizes awarded for both the Junior (12-15) and Senior (16-18) categories. Click here for more information on how to enter. All entries should receive the Competition Secretariat by 31 May 2018 and the names of winners will be announced on 5th October 2018.
