The mission of the Habitat Foundations is to contribute to biodiversity conservation by supporting education, research, and sustainable tourism. We are committed to providing a platform for scientific research and strategic initiatives in close collaboration with key stakeholders and local communities.

Working closely with government agencies, experts, NGOs, and community partners, the Foundation seeks to promote awareness and support for rainforest conservation. In addition, we will support initiatives to protect areas of conservation importance, promote their use for environmental education, and strengthen the capacity of local people and community-based organisations to optimise benefits from ecotourism.

The Foundation supports research to expand our understanding of ecology and biodiversity and to make this information available to the scientific community and decision makers alike. It also seeks to enhance appreciation of nature among the general public and through our education and community programmes.
